Aarti Uppal did her schooling from Sacred Heart Convent School, Ludhiana. Thereafter, she did her BFA from Government College of Arts, Chandigarh and MA from Punjab University. She worked as a Graphic Designer for Cosmopolitan Magazine by India Today Group and The Studio. Her inclination towards art inspired her to start her own studio named Easel Ideas in 2002 and got in the Business of Arts to become the bridge between an Artist and a buyer.

What is Business of Arts / What is a Career in Business of Arts: Art management or Business of Art (also referred to as art administration) applies business administration techniques and processes to the art world. Arts Management's purpose is to reconcile both disciplines as they potentially have opposing objectives. Business of art is performed by a mediator who provides a specific platform to artist to sell their best art pieces and also helps clients to find the art work of their choice and need.

What is Art Curation / What is a Career in Art Curation: A curator is a manager or overseer. Traditionally, a curator or keeper of a cultural heritage institution is a content specialist charged with an institution's collections and involved with the interpretation of heritage material .In other words the title curator is given to a person who selects and often interprets works of art. In addition to selecting works, the curator often is responsible for writing labels, catalog essays, and other content supporting the exhibition.
