What is Painting / What is a Career in Painting: Painting is the practice of applying paint, pigment, color or other medium to a solid surface (support base). The medium is commonly applied to the base with a brush, but other implements, such as knives, sponges, and airbrushes, can be used. The final work is also called a painting.
Painting Course / How I got into Painting: "After doing my Masters in Zoology, I started my career as an Assistant Professor in Zoology at Mumbai University. I was also a faculty for Photography as an Art Form for Bachelor of Mass Media Course. I am serving in the Indian Forest Services. Along with that, I am an artist and I put up my paintings on fineartglimpses.com."
